Self-cleaning fabric kills bacteria

DAVIS, Calif., Sept. 28 (UPI) -- A new cotton fabric is self-cleaning, killing bacteria and breaking down toxic chemicals such as pesticide residues when exposed to light, U.S. researchers say.
