Canadians lead Israeli archeological dig of early cities

A $2.7-million grant from the Canadian government is paying for a dig near Tel Aviv, Israel, where University of Manitoba archeology students are helping excavate Early Bronze Age remains dating back to somewhere between 3,000 and 2,500 BCE.
