A study projects a loss of $55 billion and a half-million jobs if deliveries from the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta are disrupted by an earthquake for a year.An earthquake that shuts down water deliveries from Northern California for a year could devastate the Los Angeles County economy, costing $55 billion and wiping out a half-million jobs, according to a new study.
