How Pterosaurs Ruled the Skies Above the Dinosaurs

The biggest pterosaur had a wingspan stretching about 33 feet (10 meters), longer than that of a small airplane. The hefty beasts, however, remained aloft above stomping dinosaurs due to three anatomical secrets, scientists say.
