Dek Plus a monster made from straw, a sugar statue, and more Array Photographer Simon Klingert caught this photo in Afghanistan, sometime in the summer of 2007. U.S. soldiers fired 155 mm shells at an enemy position, and the photo also captured light from the soldiers' headlamps and an approaching thunderstorm. See more of Klingert's work at his site.
