Minor Lunar Eclipse to Grace Night Sky This Week

The moon will pass through Earth's faint outer shadow on Friday, with the time of deepest eclipse occurring at 7:50 p.m. EDT (2350 GMT). The effect of such a "penumbral eclipse" will be subtle, but it's still worth a look upward, experts say.
