Smithsonian Moving Apollo 11 Spacecraft 'Columbia' for Conservation

Drivers in Washington, D.C. may soon catch sight of a historic NASA spacecraft and not even know it. The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum is moving the Apollo 11 command module to a restoration facility for its first conservation in 40 years.
