Stroke drug could be more widely used to clear brain blood clots

Brooks HaysEDINBURGH, Scotland, April 9 (UPI) -- New study suggests the drug alteplase is beneficial and safe for clearing blood clots in most stroke patients' brains without increased risk of bleeding.
