Atlas V rocket launches on secret mission

A rocket carrying a secret payload for the U.S. government launched Thursday night from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The 19-story-tall Atlas V rocket lifted off for low-Earth orbit. The material onboard is for the National Reconnaissance Office, which controls American intelligence satellites.
