FDA approves new 'morning-after' drug

The pill, Ella, has been shown to prevent pregnancy for up to five days after unprotected sex. It's the first such drug approved since a battle under the Bush administration over Plan B. Washington — U.S. health officials on Friday approved a new, longer-lasting "morning-after" pill to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex.
