Private spaceship makes first solo glide flight, drawing project closer to space tourism

MOJAVE, Calif. (AP) — Virgin Galactic's space tourism rocket SpaceShipTwo achieved its first solo glide flight Sunday, marking another step in the company's eventual plans to fly paying passengers.
