New Nucleotide Could Revolutionize Epigenetics

Scientists at Rockefeller University and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute report the discovery of a new nucleotide that modifies DNA. The finding suggests a new layer of epigenetic regulation that is analogous to DNA methylation but with a different and as yet unknown biological function.
