(Phys.org) —A large team of researchers with members from around the globe has announced that a class of compounds they've been studying (pyrazoleamides) appears to be successful in fighting malaria. In their paper published in the journal Nature Communications, the team describes how the compounds impact plasmodium parasites which are responsible for the disease and why they believe it will be a successful treatment.
