A Gorgeous, Long-Exposure Launch Shot

Soyuz TMA-11M NASA/Bill Ingalls We've featured some stellar shots of rockets taking off, but somehow there's always another jaw-dropping example. Here, from NASA, is the Soyuz TMA-11M taking off yesterday from a launch site in Kazakhstan, carrying an international team of three astronauts. (Also on board: the Olympic Torch.) The trio will be staying up at the International Space Station for the next six months.
