Most Complex Observatory Releases First Image

Humankind's most intricate radio-telescope,  ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) captured its first image - colliding Antenna galaxies. Only a third of ALMA's 66 planned antennas are built; the array will span 16 kilometers in Chile.
