NASA's next Mars probe is ready and cleared for launch to the Red Planet. NASA's Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution probe (MAVEN for short) is set to launch atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Nov. 18.
