Mars Rover Curiosity Sidelined by Electrical Glitch

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity has stopped gathering data for a few days while engineers investigate an electrical problem that cropped up on Sunday. The suspected culprit is a "soft short," a sort of electrical leak through partially conductive material.
