Galaxy's 'bulge' offers creation clues

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A U.S. astronomer studying the Andromeda galaxy says a thick stellar disk of older stars offers clues to how large spiral galaxies like the Milky Way form.
