NRC issues nuclear safety recommendations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's dozen suggestions, issued in response to the Fukushima disaster in Japan, fall far short of what outside experts have advocated.The staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a dozen recommendations Wednesday to improve the safety of U.S. reactors, responding to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in Japan four months ago.
