Ice Above Lake Vostok Includes DNA From Animals

Microbes that live inside fish intestines are among the vast array of microscopic life discovered in ice drilled above the surface of Lake Vostok, the deepest buried glacial lake in Antarctica. The ice is thought to be frozen from Vostok lake water.
