Unique strategies use AI and extra credit to improve student performance on physics exams

A team of researchers from the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, San Diego have discovered positive uses for AI and extra credit assignments to help improve student performance in introductory physics courses, including reducing the impacts of inequities, as featured in the Physical Review Physics Education Research Journal.
