Part of the genome of two hunter-gatherers from 7,000 years ago

Studies of the fossil remains suggest that current Iberians don't genetically come from these groups. It is the first human DNA recovered from the Mesolithic Period and the oldest from Prehistory, exceeding Ötzi in 1700 years. Individuals were discovered at La Braña-Aritero site in Leon, Spain.
