Cometary Poison Gas Geyser Heralds Surprises

A surge of cyanide gas from the nucleus of Comet Hartley 2 has researchers wondering, what is going on in the core of this small but active comet? Answers are in the offing as NASA's EPOXI mission prepares for a daring flyby on Nov. 4th.
