Brown Dwarfs Make Rocky Planets Too? | Video

Astronomers have detected millimeter-sized solid grains (the stuff of rocky planets) in the dusty disc surrounding an Ophiuchus constellation Brown Dwarf. It was thought that solid grains could not form in the cold conditions around these objects.
