Extreme Supermassive Black Hole Winds Can Create Stars | Video

The European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope has been used to detect stars growing within the outflows emanating from the massive black holes. The newborn stars are also traveling at high velocities away from the galaxy cores.
