Researchers reconstruct genomes to learn about leprosy's decline

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, June 14 (UPI) -- Genomes of the strains of the pathogen responsible for leprosy were reconstructed to learn why the scourge of Medieval Europe suddenly abated, researchers said.
