U.S. remains safe from radioactivity, officials say, but levels are being watched closely

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission reiterated that the nuclear fallout from Japan poses no danger to U.S. territory. A network of 100 radiation sensors across the U.S. is operating in high gear to make sure it stays that way. A network of sensors in the U.S. is watching and waiting for the first sign of nuclear fallout from the crippled Japanese reactors at the Fukushima power plant 5,000 miles away.
