First Woman Ever Wins Top Math Prize 'Fields Medal'

For the first time in history the Fields Medal, the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for mathematics, will be awarded to a woman, Maryam Mirzakhani, an Iranian mathematician and a professor at Stanford University.
