Revealed by New Horizons, Pluto's 'Heart' Named for Planet's Discoverer

As NASA's New Horizons flew past Pluto on July 14, it had aboard some of the ashes of the astronomer who discovered the planet in 1930. Now, the mission team has further honored the late Clyde Tombaugh by giving Pluto's heart-shaped region his name.
