Cosmic 'Death Star' seen destroying planet

Brooks HaysCAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Astronomers have spotted a rocky planet being destroyed by a cosmic "Death Star." The planet is locked in a death spiral around the distant white dwarf.
